Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Briggs stalling, gas tank, air filter

Hi I have a B&s 5hp fitted in a Heyter mower, it starts then revs & dies... cleaned carb, drained fuel chucked air filter... fixed it for one cut then started doing it again, I thought fuel, but before I want to get more in depth I thought I would ask a pro,  any ideas?  Peter

 Hello Peter:

 This Sounds like there's still trash in the Carb. You just moved it around. ReClean the Carb and Overhaul. Blow ALL Ports and Passages out with High Pressure Air. Take a Rag and stuff into the Gas Tank and Clean also. Hope this Helps.
