why is my mower not getting gas after engine gets hot?

No gas after it gets hot?  Odds are you have a fuel pump with a hole in the membrane (if in fact is ISN'T getting gas after it gets to running temp)

What exactly are the symptoms?  Does it crank ok and run fine until it warms up?  Then does it quit?  Do you still have a spark when it quits?

I have a OLD craftsman that did that.  Turned out to be the fuel pump-it was just plain worn out.
