Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 6 hp vanguard briggs, pressure washer, briggs

I have a pressure washer with a 6hp briggs engine  It runs for 5 minutes then after that it just cuts out   There is no problem starting it back up but will only run for 30 seconds to a minute and will cut out.  any suggestion

 Hello Doug:

 This could be either an Ignition Module Failure or the Carb. If you have Spark when it dies then its the Carb. If there is no fire then its the Ignition Module inside the Coil.  Hope this Helps.
