Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): riding mower, starter solenoid, key switch

Hiya Toney,
Whoa- thats a project!  OK- first connect the BIG red wire from the battery to the starter solenoid.  Then connect the starter solenoid POS terminal to the key switch START (use a light to find this terminal) terminal.  IF the starter solenoid is seperate from the starter, connect a BIG red wire from the other LARGE terminal of the solenoid to the starters LARGE terminal.  If the solenoid is part of the starter, skip.  Next, connect the IGN terminal of the key switch to the ignition coil, but you need to know if it uses an inline resistive wire or not!  Other side of the coil may go to the breaker/condensor module, or the alternator stator depending on your model.
