Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Murray Model 38515x92A wont start, fuse holder, new spark

Purchased 1998.

I have had numerous problems with this mower, from pulleys to belts, etc.

I have a new spark plug and new battery but there is no noise when I turn the key.  I haven't been able to find where the fuse is located.  The instruction book says "next to the battery" but I don't see it.  Do you know where the fuse might be?

Hiya Linda-
Sorry for the delay (vac).  If you haven't found it yet, its in line with the small red wire coming either from your battery or the starter (depending on the model of mower more than  the engine).  Its a white plastic fuse holder, that uncouples by twisting 1/3 turn and pulling apart (bayonet connector).  Should be a glass fuse inside.  I Am concerned why it blew, and if its ok, you have a problem with your ignition switch.
