HI JOHN,I GUESS I DIDN'T ASK THE RIGHT QUESTION,WHAT I' REALLY WANT TO KNOW IS HOW TO CHANGE THE STARTER CORD ON A HOMELITE VAC.ATTACK BLOWER MODEL UTO8107.SORRY I DIDN'T MAKEMYSELF CLEAR ON MY PREVIOUS QUESTION.THANKS AGAIN, BART DI CARLO

 Hello Bart:

 Im sorry I misunderstood what you were asking in your last emaail. When the Housing and Shaft Assembly seperated,
look inside the Housing and you should see a small bolt.  Remove this bolt. 8mm or 5/16" socket fits this bolt. Carefilly remove the Rope pulley from housing. Watch out for the Rewind Spring when removing this pulley. Remove any old cord. Reinstall the pulley. Wind the pulley until spring is tight then back up 1 full turn. Thread the new cord into the hole in the starter pulley and through the housing. Put the Handle on the new cord and re-Assemble. That should be it.
