Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Self Propelled B&S powered lawnmower, lawnmower repair, fuel flow

Question
Yardmachine 12A-378N118/ Ser# 1A077B20383.  I have replaced spark plug and air filter, changed the oil and have new fuel. Carburetor was cleaned and a repair kit used by a lawnmower repair shop. I have cut the yard 3 times.  I started to cut again yesterday and completed about 1/3 when the engine slowed down and stopped. I appeared to be out of fuel. I refilled the tank and primed. The engine starts each time but immediately dies down and stops. Observation of the carburetor shows the 'flutter valve' starting to close after each start. Am I missing a secondary spring or something from the blade brake control or something restricting fuel flow?  Perplexed?

Answer
 Hello Jay:

Sounds like you Picked up some Trash in your Gas Can. The Carb needs to b Cleaned Again. Sorry to tell you this, But this is the Only thing that would Cause the Problemm you described. Get a Trash Screen for your Gas Can also.
Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
