Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): gas lawn mower shutts off after oil leakage, head bolts, oil leakage

Question
Hi john
I tilted the gas lawn mower to its side for cleaning the blade. Afterwards, I noticed the oil leaked out from somewhere. As I tried many times to restart, it shuts off immediately with a thick smoke and some oil sprayed through the exaust.

Answer
 Hello Mahavir:

You Filled the Crankcase Vent with oil. If you Look at the Carb, you will see a Rubber Tube Leading from the Breather to the Engine Block. On the Engine Block is the Vent (approx 2 1/2" Wide and 3" Long)and Held into the Engine Block with Two 5 1/16 Head Bolts. Remove this and Wash the Oil out of it. Also Clean the Air Filter and Replace the Spark Plug. It should Run Fine after this is Performed. Always Tilt the Mower away from the Spark Plug when Cleaning Under the Deck. Never Tilt the Engine on its Side. Hopes this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
