Tractor starts and runs but only fireing on one cylinder, pops and backfires.. I'm getting spark to dead cylinder, but when i checked the spark plug its dry like i"m getting no fuel to cylinder. Ijust changed the plugs and air cleaner, the air cleaner was very dirty and had not been changed in quite a while.

 Hello Gary:

 First you need to know the Compression of the Cylinder that isnt Firing. Sounds like a Burnt Valve. If the Valve is Burnt on the One Cylinder Then have a Valve Job Performed on Both Cylinders and it should be fine. Hope this Helps.
