Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Echo SRM 230 trimmer question, fuel starvation, fuel mixture

Question
I have this model trimmer that is 2 years old. Last summer it worked perfectly. I had to put this unit into a storage container and had to drain the fuel mixture to meet the requirements of the storage company. I just mixed up a new batch of fuel and now the trimmer will not run unless it is under full choke and will not rev up at all. I have cleaned the filter, vent breather, air filter, and exhaust. Additionally, I have taken the carbureto apart and cleaned it with carb and choke cleaner. I have had the needle out of it as well and cleaned it too. I blew the carb out with low pressure air through every orifice I could find. There was no odor of varnish in the carb or elsewhere. The carb that is on this model has no external fuel air adjustments. All gaskets look top be in great shape. The mixture is exactly as the manufacturer recommends. I beleive I have a fuel starvation (lean) condition, but do not know what else to do to fix this trimmer. I'm out of ideas and considering a new carb to try next. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Answer
 Hello Doug

First I need to say you Cannot Use Old Gaskets. They are most likely Stretched and can also cause your problem. Also there is a Needle Valve that must be set properly or the unit will not Run.  I Suggest to Anyone that asks me about Trimmer Carbs to take the Trimmer Carb to the Shop. They have the gauges to set the Needle Valve. If it was a Mower Carb I would have no problem helping you repair it. Sorry I wasnt of more help.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
