Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Tiller, tiller, craftsman

I have a 4 hp. rear tine craftsman tiller. Is there any way to grease the tranny or chain drive? I am not sure sure if it is chain driven because I have not taken it apart yet. It seem to be making a grinding sound in that area.  Thanks Steve

 Hello Steve

 If you hear a grinding noise I would not use this tiller anymore until you have it checked.  By using it you will only do more damage than there is now.  A grinding noise isnt the chain needing grease and adding lube to the tranny isnt going to stop this problem.
