Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Snow Thrower, snow thrower, unsuccessful search

  So far, an unsuccessful search. I need parts for a 'Snow Chief' snow thrower.  Model# SC5230H-602110, SN: SC9145215-H201. It is powered by a Tecumseh 5hp engine. The engine runs fine. I'm looking for traction belt, auger belt & a friction plate. & maybe chains for 13x5 tires. Is Snow Chief no longer made & sold?  Who carries parts for this brand?  Thanks.  Jimmy

Sorry, I dont know if that brand is made anymore.  Snow Chief was sold by True Value.  The belts can be matched up to any power rated belt, sold at any power equipment supplier.  Generic chains can be bought there also.  The friction plate might be a problem but may be the same as one used today with another brand.  I would start with an old established True Value store, then try large repair shops.
