Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Victa Mower Fuel Leak, rubber tip, fuel leak

Hi Eric, I have a victa vantage 2 stroke mower and it is leaking fuel from the primer plate. I have replaced the primer plate, float, needle and o ring and it was okay for 1 mow and now it is leaking again. It leaks as soon as you prime the petrol and will only stop when you turn the petrol tap off. Victa arent much help as when i ring, i cant understand the accents on the people. My mower shop are unable to help me either. Id appreciate any help you could provide

Is there a hole in the float?  I've found some floats so full of fuel that they did not appear to leak.  Upon ording a new float you could feel the weight difference in the floats.

Does the inlet needle have a viton (rubber) tip on it?
What engine is on the mower?
