Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Reddy Kerosene Heater repair, kerosene heater repair, kerosene forced air heater

Question
Dear Michael
I have a 30,000 btu Reddy brand kerosene forced air heater that is not working properly.  It runs a while & then shuts off.  I changed & bought fresh kerosene 2 times.  I do not think that stale fuel is the problem.

Will a filter kit of all the filters in the heater fix this problem?
Thanks,

Answer
Hi Terry,

Check the thermostat, if equipped.  Maybe the problem IS  dirt, as you suspect.  You may need to clean and blow out the fuel path, including the burner nozzle.  If there are filters, I would inspect or replace them.

Let me know how you make out.
Michael
