Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): leak, carburetor, leaks

overhauled the carburetor on my 4hp brigg @stratten engine and now it leaks gas and don't know why.replace float needle and seat so don't know why it leaks,never had it happen before.this mtd self propel mower is new to me.

Hi Phil,

I'm sorry for my delay.

If it leaks from the carb intake, I would suspect the needle, seat or float adjustment.  Check the seat to see if it was installed inverted.  Maybe the new seat or needle is defective.
