Hello,
My new mower all of a sudden won't start. The starter spins, but no movement of the engine. Does this always mean the starter is bad or could it be something else like ignition? Thanks for your help.

Check the starter gear pinion...it sounds like it is not engaging the flywheel.   You may have to remove a cover to gain access to the starter pinion gear.  One you try to start the mower, the starter pinion gear should climb up the starter shaft and engage the flywheel ring gear.
