Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower deck paint and power washers, kartcher, honda mower

Question
Nice to seee you worked at the small engine clinic in Hawaii, where I am from.

I just got a Honda mower and I alwarys scrape the exterior deck by mowing up against the neighbor's wall.  What kind of paint should I use to cover the wear spot up?

Also, what is a good power washer to purchase for general home use that is below $300.  I have been using an electric Kartcher 1200 psi, but I am looking for faster-cleaning power now.

Answer
I usually try to use the factory color paint or a close match.  Many auto parts sell touch-up paint that is good for the task but it costs more than Wal-Mart paint.  For the most durable paint I know a few commericial users who remove the engines and have the decks powder coated or have that spray-on bedliner material sprayed on the deck.]

Kartcher is a very good electric power washer but the gas engine washers generally have more power.  Most all of the power washers use the same pressure pump you just have to choose the power you want.  We have a very powerful hot water washer at work that works great but it is fairly expensive and not practical for home use.  Have you checked online for power washer reviews?

Let me know if this helps.
