Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): throttle linkage craftsmsan 2, throttle linkage, riding mower

We have been messing with this mower for about 3 weeks. After alot of replacing point less items, we realized it is the throttle linkage. Our problem is we have no Idea how it supposed to be hooked up. Can you please help? It is a craftsmen 2 riding mower part # 917.255520

Hi Char,

Sorry, I don't know how the linkage is supposed to go without seeing it.  All I can say is to look carefully at the connection points noting the areas of wear.  Then connect the rods in those holes.  You might also be able to look at a similar mower at a dealer or repair shop.
