Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Riding lawnmower wiring, craftsman riding mower, electrical problem

Question
I have an electrical problem. I have a craftsman
riding mower about 3-4 years old. It would not
start. I checked the solenoid (replaced it) and
that was not the problem. This solenoid has two
terminals on it so it is not externally grounded.
I can get it to turn over when I connect a ground
to the other terminal but I have no power to the
coil therefore no spark.
1. Does the coil have voltage to it when the switch is on.
Also all the switches (clutch, seat, blade)has been
disconnected/bypassed.
What I really need is a wiring diagram.
Do you know where I can get a wiring diagram?

Answer
Hi Danny,

Sorry, I don't know where you can get a diagram.
The coil usually has a lead that is used to kill the spark.  If the coil wires are intact and connected properly but no spark, I would replace the coil.

Let me know how you make out.
