Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): craftsman leaf blower, craftsman leaf blower, starter fluid

Question
I have a 1 year old crafsman leaf blower that will barely start and won't stay running. Blower is a 25cc/205mph, 2 cycle. I've tried new gas, removed the gas filter, cleaned plug-has good spark, disassembled and cleaned carb, air filter is clean, removed muffler and inspected. This one really has us baffled. It's like it doesn't have any power. Tried shooting starter fluid directly into carb. It would sputter and then die. Any idea's would be greatly appreciated! Gave up and took to a small engine repairman. He can't find anything either but said he has 2 poulan's and now mine with the same exact problem. All fairly new. I only ran mine about 10-15 times the first year. Thanks

Answer
Hi Steve,

I'm baffled here too!  If adding fuel didn't help, then I would guess it needs more air or is getting too much fuel already.  The ports were clean and okay I assume.  Also the muffler and spark arrester.  Maybe the timing has gotten off.

Let me know how you make out.
