Hi Bob,

Sorry for my delay.  It was a busy holiday here.

Try adjusting the jets.  The high speed mixture screw is normally set at 1&1/2 turns out and the low speed jet at 3/4 turn out.

Let me know how you make out.
Michael

Hi Michael,

Well I would do that, but I don't have any jets that I can see. The only screws that I have found is the idle screw and a screw that was hidden behind some sort of rubber disc that was located down just above the rim where the bowl seals and to the left of center of the carb. When I removed this screw it has a some hole running thru near the tip and it might look like the end of the screw might have had a hole but not really sure. If it suppose to have a hole in the tip, then this is the culprit because its plugged. I didn't want to drill that out if it wasn't suppose to have a hole. Thanks

Bob

Answer
Hi Bob,

Some carb screws have caps on them to prevent tampering.  If your are like this, you can safely probe the hole with a small wire.  I wouldn't drill it out though.  If your carb has no jets, then you might need to replace the diaphram or just add a carb rebuild kit.

Good luck,
Michael
