Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Weedeater Line Trimmer Starved for Gas, line tank, line trimmer

hello. Was running my weedeater brand LT17 line trimmer today and it just quit. Normally you can see gas in primer bulb which it did have at start. Now their is no gas in primer bulb and engine of course won't start. why would it suddenly stop pumping gas to carb? blockage? vapor lock? Help! thanks for your time.

Hi WCG,

You are asking the same questions that I would.  Check the fuel line, tank filter and tank vent.  Something is preventing the fuel flow.  If all looks well there, I would suspect the carb.  It may have some dirt blocking an opening.
