Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Gas overflowing rebuilt carb, float bowl, needle valve

Question
I rebuilt a carb on a Tecumsuph 4hp power washer. Replaced the float, needle valve and seat. It was very dirty and now runs great...problem is when I turn it off the gas seeps out of the primer bulb hole. I assume it is the float being set wrong so I am not sure how to set it.

Answer
The float should be set so it's parallel with the carb body where the float bowl attaches.  If it's leaking slowly, I suspect, if the float level is correct, that you correctly installed the seat...not to worry, it happens to the best of us sometimes.  Another problem could be dirt in the check valve in the primer bulb.  Hope this helps.
