I cleaned my carb, added fresh gas and primed the engine. It starts on the first pull but dies after 30 or so seconds. I get good spark.

Assuming you cleaned the carb thoroughly and it is spotless, the problem could be related to the fuel tank vent being plugged.  Try loosening off the cap slightly and running the engine.  If this corrects the problem, you will need to replace the fuel cap.  If this doesn't correct the problem, you might have an issue with the ignition module malfunctioning once it warms up.  You can connect an inductive timing light to the spark plug lead to see if it is spark loss that is causing the engine to quit.  Hope this helps.
