Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Lawn mower runs slow, rain one, float bowl

Question
Craftsman 3.5HP, 3 years old.  Last year the lawn mower died during use and would not start.  I replaced the spark plug and the mower started but has run slow since.  The mower was used in the rain one day for a few minutes but ran fine afterwards until two or three uses later.

Answer
Drain the fuel from the gas tank.  Remove the float bowl nut located on the bottom of the carburetor.  This will drain the carburetor.  Clean the bowl nut and make sure the holes are clean.

If you're careful, you can remove the bowl and clean it also.

Let me know how it goes.
