Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): B & S Carburatpr, briggs, vic

Question
I have a Briggs Model 10A002 type 2286.  This has the bulb type fuel primer.  I am able to get the mower running when i pour gas into the carb but once that runs out it stops.  I have taken the carb apart and cleaned everything out but it still doesn't seem to pull gas from the tank.  When pushed all the way in, the primer bulb takes some time to release.  I am guessing a build up somewhere within the assembly but can't find it.

Answer
Hi Vic,

You are right, there is definately a clogged fuel path.  I would start at the tank and make sure that there is a good flow to the carb.  Next re-clean the carb, checking each and every small opening.  Probe with a small wire.

Let me know how you make out,
Michael
