Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Pull Cord on Snow Blower, honda hs35 snow blower, wet snow

I have a Honda HS35 snow blower.  I was snow blowing heavy wet snow and it stalled.   I cleaned it out but when I tried to restart it, the pull cord had no tension.

I recommend for everyone that writes in about recoils to take them into a good shop to have the repair done. It can be more costly and potentially dangerous to repair if you haven't done one before. If you are lucky, they will let you observe as they complete the repair.

If you are referring to the engine having no compression, the problem requires a different solution altogether.
