Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsmen Snowblower, minuets, last winter

Question
Hi, I have a 1 year old Craftsman 8hp snowblower.  It will run good for about 5 minuetes than stall out.  It will not start again after it stalls unless I let it sit for a few minuets.  I changed the plug and oil, and used stabilizer and the end of last winter.  I thought it may be dirty carbs but why does it have to sit or cool down before it will start again?  Thanks, Dom

Answer
I suspect, from what you describe, their is a problem with the ignition module.  If it is only a year old, I recommend you check your warranty on this before you proceed with any repairs.  Otherwise, check for spark after it quits.  If the ignition module is OK, it should be able to jump a spark across a 1/8" gap.  Hope this helps.
