Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Snowblower, craftsman snowblower, sparkplug

Question
We have a craftsman snowblower. About a month ago we changed the sparkplug because it wouldn't start manually or with electric. After it was changed it worked great. Then we needed it again this weekend. Went to start it, it took a couple times but started.Got a path started about 10ft and it died. Now it starts but immediately stops, what do i need to do to fix this?
(gas, and oil have been checked)

Answer
Hi Jennifer,

If it runs with the choke fully or partially on, then the carb most likely has dirt, debris, gummed fuel or water inside.  You would need to remove the carb, disassemble it, clean all the small internal openings and blow it out with compressed air.   Probe each and every hole with a small wire.  Adding a carb rebuild kit wouldn't hurt either.

Let me know how you make out.
