I have a Toro sno-pup snowblower.  It starts fine, then pops and spits out of the carb. or exhaust, and dies.  Where should I begin to look?
Answer -
Hi Bob,

Is it 2 or 4 stroke?  It spits fuel out of BOTH the carb and exhaust?

Michael
its a 2 stroke, I think it is poping out of the muffler.. Bob

Answer
Hi Bob,

An easy thing to try, would be adjusting the carbs' mixture screws.  I suspect a bigger problem, like late ignition timing or port problem.  If the snowblower is old, both of these problems could be difficult and expensive to repair.  You could remove the muffler and inspect the exhaust port for any abnormality.  The timing would require a degree wheel to check.  Other than that, I can't offer much more.

Good Luck,
Michael
