Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): pull cord wont retract, aujs, bendix

NOW I HAVE A NEW PROB I FIXED THE BENDIX AND THE CLUTCH AND NOW IT WONT START UP THE CARB AUJISTMENTS I DONT NO THEM IT IS A 8HP BRIGGSandSTRATTON THE CARB HAS 3 SCREWS AND A BOWEL AT THE BOTTOM I GUESS 2 HOLD THE GAS.THAT IS WHERE 1 SCREW IS AND THE OTHER IS ON THE SIDE OF THE CARB AND 1 SCRREW PUSHES THE THROTTTLE UP OR DOWN WHAT ARE THE AUJS AND WHERE SHOULD I START AT I DONT NO WITCH IS H AND L THANK YOU

Hi Chris,

Set the large, high speed mixture screw (Located on the bottom of the carb bowl.) at 1 & 1/2 turns out.  Set the small, low speed mixture screw (Located on the side) at 3/4 turn out.  Set the idle speed screw (which limits the closing of the carb plate) to give a desired idle speed.
