It is on a rotatiller. ( I hope I spelled that right )

Its code is:  73050101

Question -
I have a 25 year old B&S 3.5 H.P. Engine.
Model:  92902
Type:  0783
It has no spark.  I have put in a new plug, checked the spark plug wire, took off the starter and checked the flywheel for rust, cleaned the magneto and no luck.
Any suggetions?  If it has points and condensors then I probably will have to learn how to take off the flywheel.

Thanks:  Bill Reinhard
Answer -
What is the engine on and what is the code number?
Let me know.

Answer
It should have points unless someone has installed an electronic ignition module.

If it still has points I would recommend checking into an electronic igntion module.  Briggs would be best, but they are higher than an after-market module.

Check you local auto parts store.  They usually carry points and electronic modules.  You shouldn't have to replace the whole coil.  I prefer to install the small square universal electronic modules.  They work fine and are usually the cheapest option.

Let me know what you decide to do.
