Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda mower wont start, honda mower, proper fuel

Mike,
Last week I finish cutting my front and side yards, I shut off the
mower to unlock back gate. When I went to start mower it
would'nt. I've since replaced the fuel, Plug, filter and still
nothing. The plug is getting spark and fuel is flowing. I even
sprayed some quick start into chamber but all I get is the mower
coughing white smoke.

Hi David,

Hmm...Very strange.
Proper fuel/air mix, hot timed spark and compression are the 3 things needed for an engine to run.  If the spark at the plug is good and fuel & air is getting to the engine, then I would look at the compression and/or valves.

Let me know how you make out.
