Hey Jim,
Your carb is probably clogged. What you have to do is take off the carb and soak it in a nice clean container with fresh gasoline and let it sit for an hour or two. After this take cloth or wire bristled pipe cleaner and run it through every small hole in the carb. Re-soak in a new clean container with fresh gasoline for about 20-30minutes. It should run great.
