Question
Hi Mark,

I am writing to ask if you could instruct me on how to clean the carberator on my toro snowblower you have been helping me on tryin to get started.  I finally figured out how to get it off and now I would like to clean it.  the snowblower was a tora model # 38445 3650GTS gas single stage. 6.5 hp

Once i clean it ill try to put it back together and hopefully it will start.

Thank you for your help.

Answer
Hello Lucy,
sorry for the delay. What you must do is soak the carb in gasoline for about 2-3 hours(trust me it may take a while but after it will run great). After this take a pipe cleaner of any of these materials(preferably cloth bristle, or hard wire bristle)and clean every little nook, and hole in the carb. Then re-soak the carb in a CLEAN CONTAINER WITH FRESH GAS. Re-assemble it and it should run great. Also when running try and spray a little bit of carb cleaner fluid into the engine to get the carbs parts and upper cylinder lubed(oiled), and to clean out any dirt you missed. Hope this is good. Let me know how it works out.
