Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): HOMELITE YARD BROOM, yard broom, spark test

Question
I have a new Homelite yard broom model ZR08110, and the recoil rope was hanging up so i got into it and loosened the retaining screws up to free it so it works good now, but it won't even pop when i try to start it. This has only run twice, then the rope started hanging on me. I have since taken it apart to try to find something that i forgot to hook up, but everything looks fine. Did I fail to hook something up?, I'm going to try a new plug, but this unit doesnt even have an hour running time on it, and it wont even try to start. Any information will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Answer
Hey Bruce,
The best thing to do is return it for a new on since it has a 2 year warraty to prevent futue problems. If you want you can try to replace the spark test compression or whatever but you should return for new.
