Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Electric Mower stopped running, mowing the lawn, power cord

Question
I have an electric Sear's Mower.  While mowing the lawn today, the mower sounded like the blade was turning a too slowly.  I stopped the mower and disconnected the power cord, to clean around the blade.  When I tried to start the mower again, it would not start.  I could hear a clicking sound, which I never heard before, but the mower would not start.  Can I fix this problem or does this indicate a more serious problem?  Thank you for your time.

Answer
It sounds like you are hearing a start relay engaging (clicking) but there is an issue with the motor itself.  Depending on the condition and quality, it may be worth repairing (especially if it only needs brushes), otherwise, you may want to consider replacement.  Hope this helps.
