Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): 4 horsepower murray push lawnmower, internal passages, water in the fuel

my mower recently stopped running...it will start right away but run for only a few seconds.. i put a brand new air filter and spark plug and changed the oil.  i dont know what else it could be..the only thing i can think of is maybe there is some water in the fuel....

If it only runs on choke or after being primed and then quits, there is a blockage inside the carb.  You will need to thoroughly clean the carb, including pushing a piece of tag wire through all of the internal passages.  You will also want to inspect and clean the fuel tank.  It would also be wise to check your gas can for debris as well.  Hope this helps.
