Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Chainsaw/poulan, poulan chainsaw, vacation tomorrow

Question
Chainsaw won't start. Have replaced sparkplug and am  getting spark. Had been using saw, stopped it, went to start it up again and it won't start. Then replaced spark plug. It's model 3400.

Hi Tom,

There may be a clog in the fuel line or carb.  Test this, by squirting fuel into the carb and see if it starts.
The carb may need a rebuild kit.
