Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Cleaning fuel line / tank - Procecure, briggs stratton, hp briggs

Question
I'm using a Lawn Chief push lawnmower - that is probably 10 years old.  It suddenly stopped while mowing and I cannot start it.  I think the fuel line may be plugged.  Where can I get information about the procedure to follow to remove tank / line for cleaning?  I don't have a diagram and guess I'll just start up-bolting tank and carburator.  (?)  Can you direct me to a procedure to follow?  It's a 3.5 HP Briggs & Stratton Model 81 size 21 engine, if that helps.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Answer
DENNIS, BEFORE I WENT TO THIS LABOR I WOULD FIRST TAKE THE CAP OFF AND WITH A LIGHT TAKE A LOOK INSIDE.  IF IT IS THAT DIRTY THEN YOU SHOULD SEE THE DIRT IN THERE BY GOLLY.  I DON'T THINK THE FUEL LINE IS PLUGGED AS THERE IS A STRAINER
TO PREVENT THAT.  IT MUST BE SOMETHING ELSE.  TAKE A LOOK AT THE SPARK PLUG.
LET ME KNOW,
GEORGE
