Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): New Pull Cord, recoil spring, time hope

My pull cord to start the mower came out yesterday.  Is it easy to replace this?

I recommend for everyone that writes about recoils to take it into a good shop for repair.  If you haven't done one before, it can be more expensive (if you break recoil spring) and potentially dangerous.  If you are lucky, the shop will let you watch as they fix it so you will know how to do it next time.  Hope this helps.
