Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): LAwn Mower Carb, hi gas, lawn mower

Hi-

Gas seems to be runnung out of the red small tube that comes from the carb and goes inside of the air filter when the mower is off. This is a craftman 3.5 push lawn mower. Is it something with the carb that needs to be ajusted?

If there is raw fuel running into the air cleaner, you need to inspect the needle and seat. You should also check the float is OK (if you here fuel in the float when shaking it, it has a hole and will need to be replaced). Either the needle and seat are worn, the float has a hole in it or there is debris under the needle.  Hope this helps.
