Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): gas getting in oil, ant mound, own medicine

Question
I have a push mower with a 6hp tecumseh engine. It sat for a long time without being used. I just got it running but I think gas is getting into the oil. It sounded like it was going to sieze up while it was running. I shut it off and looked at the oil it was gray. I drained and flushed it out, refilled and it did the same thing. Can this be fixed?
Thanks Jim

Answer
A tecumseh huh.  That sounds kind of like an american indian made engine.  I would be willing to bet you that they made it so the gas and oil would mix on purpose.  I knew they would get us back eventually for taking their land.  Who knew we would pay while we were trying to mow our yards?  You are kind of lucky the thing doesn't work.  I'll bet you a hundred bucks right now that the particular lawn mower you have will scalp your lawn to death when it does run.  The only thing to do with that mower is bury it next to an ant mound.  Yeah give them a little taste of their own medicine for once.  Did you buy it from a place with BINGO on the front of it?
