Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Homelite ST-145 String Trimmer, high tension wire, wd 40

Question
I've got a 10 year old string trimmer that was working great until the end of the summer.  The wire cable that connects to the spark plug boot pulled apart.  Not quite sure how to repair this, or if it's even worth it, since you can get a Trimmer for <$100.  I wouldn't mind trying to fix it, at least to learn a few things.  Any advice?

Answer
This is a nice easy fix.  If you go to a small engine shop, you can buy a little kit (cheap) that has the new contact spring and boot.  The contact spring pierces the high tension wire and, with a little WD-40, you push the end (with the installed spring contact) into the plug boot and reconnect to the plug.  If you go to a good shop, they can show you this simple repair.  Hope this helps.
