Snowmobile Repair: Starter Problem with Arctic Cat, arctic cat 570, starter problem

Question
2003 Arctic Cat 570 ESR started ok last week.  Now starter motor will not turn.  Checked and charged battery.  Is there a fuse that controls the starter motor?  How can I test/localize the problem?

Answer
Take a tester and chech to see if there is 12 volts going into the starter.  If not then work your way back from there.  There should be a fuse or a fuesible link somewhere but I'm not sure where.  If you have 12 volts at the starter then your starter is dead.  Tap it with a hammer and see if it works, if it starts to work don't trust it replace it.  That means the brushes inside are bad.
