Question
My push button start is not working correctly.Sometimes when you push the button it starts most times nothing happens, no taillight blinking.I'am sure the codes need to be reset. Nothing in the manual on this starter or codes, even local arctic cat dealer has nothing. Can you help me or direct me to a place to find a solution. There are 3 button on the starter,  starting, stopping and setting low temperture staring.

Answer
Hello Gary,

I'm very sorry I haven't been availible to help answer questions here at Allexperts. Quite a few things are possible. First, try charging up the battery until it is fully charged, or replacing it. Next, leave the battery dissconected for 24 hours. This should clear the computer completely. Then, re-connect the battery. When you attempt to start it, jiggle the reverse lever back and forth a bit with the key in the start postion. Sometimes the switch on this can stick. Also make sure all connections are tight on the key and start postion/kill switch. If all else fails, I would just suspect the actual switch. You can get a new one through Browns Arctic Cat here: http://www.brownsleisureworld.com/Parts/SNOWMOBILE/2005/2005T660TurboTouring/ Installation for a new switch is reasonably simple and is basically just a plug in. I hope this helps you. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck! --Arcticatman
