Snowmobile Repair: Jetting AC 700, altitude changes, arctic cat

Question
Hello.  I have a 99 Arctic Cat 700.  I have problems running with altitude and temp changes and do not want to re-jet every hour.  I will typically run from 6000 ft up to 10000 ft in a day and 25F to 40F.  I have heard of aftermarket products to dial in the jets for the temp and altitude changes.  Are these worth while?  Any recommendations.  Thanks.

Answer
Hello Greg,

Dial a Jet was made specifcally to solve this problem. It is the only jetting kit I can recomend, as I am not familliar with any of the others, nor do most have the best results from what I can see. Here is a link to the dial a jet:  http://www.thunderproducts.com/dial_a_jet.htm You can get them from most snowmobile sites as well as dealers. I hope this answers your question. Let me know if you have any other questions. Good luck with the sled! --Arcticatman
