Snowmobile Repair: which sled would be faster, xc, year 2000

I was wondering which snowmobile is faster in a race arross a lake, a 600 xc dulex year 2000 or an 600 formula triple year 1998?  Thanks Keler

  I would give my bet to the Doo, tripple. I've actually riden the III a few times, and the performance is pretty out standing. Not sure which sled is yours? Sounds like you're going to race someone. The III will do a good 110, and I don't doubt it will do more. Good luck, the XC is a worthy sled to race, too. It would give some edge to have studs, on either sled. Good luck! --Arcticatman
