Snowmobile Repair: motor problem, polaris dealer, crank shaft

Question
I have a 1995 indy xlt polaris sled. last weekend went for a ride, it was quite cold so we were not going real fast. about a half hour into the ride my sled slowed down and seemed to have half power. I stopped and looked under the hood but did not no what I was looking for. so I shut her down and checked the plugs etc. but when I went to restart siezed up. ther was no loud noise  when i shut her down.   any ideas.
thank you for your time

Answer
It could be a number of problems. If the motor is seized ( you can't crank the engine any more)that meens you weren't gettin enough lubrication to the pistons and crank. 1 was your oil pump working ( using oil from the res).  2 is your motor piped and/or jetted right? The xlt has a tendency of seizing up the 3rd bearing on the crank shaft do to improper lube, this may be your prob. I would take it to a polaris dealer and have them look at it.
