Hey Doug. I have an 81 chevy c 10 full size pu and i need to replace the ignition,which wont shut off. I have the new one,but im unsure how to remove the old one which is basically stuck in the start position..Thanks Jay

We have recently uploaded some videos on our company website to give you first hand viewing of how to remove, disassemble, and reassemble the column you are talking about (tilt and non tilt are the same for what you are doing). They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos with instructions. The videos are for a newer Chevrolet truck, but the column is very similar to yours.
